Become a Youth Company Member!

Discover our inclusive dance programs tailored for young dancers ages 6-17. From our youngest members in the Little Company (ages 6 -10) to our older dancers in the Junior Company (ages 11-18), everyone gets the chance to shine on stage. Members participate in performances throughout the year, including our annual production, The Legend of the Poinsettia, and showcase their skills at local festivals and special events. (NEW) Mi Familia y Yo: Looking for a fun activity to enjoy with your little ones and stay active? Join our Familia y Yo class, designed for parents and children to come together and groove to the vibrant rhythms of Latin and Spanish cultures. Dive into styles such as flamenco and salsa, bonding with your mini-me along the way.

Ballet/Flamenco: Introducing classical ballet, dance and Spanish dance techniques to little “Bailarines” developing coordination, musicality and self-expression. All directions and commands are in Spanish Language.

Flamenco: Classical and character Spanish dance form including body posture technique, musicality, and history. Learn the different palos (rhythm) of flamenco incorporating arm and hand movement known as braceo, zapateado (footwork) technique and palmas (hand clapping). Directions and commands are taught in Spanish language.

(Latin) Ballet: Ballet technique including barre, alignment and performance skills. Pointe training and technique is offered for dancers with advanced level of technique.

Hip Hop: High-energy street dance and technique, moving rapidly to advance skills. Great dance workout!

(NEW) Hip Hop Caribeño: High-energy street dance and technique mixed with elements of dancehall and Caribbean rhythms.

African-Cuban Dance: Experience African-Caribbean dances such as the Orisha traditions (the seven powers of Africa --Elegguá, Ogún, Oshún, Yemayá, Chango, Obatala, Babalu Aye). This class includes Rumba, Mambo, and Salsa, all based on African-Cuban roots and traditions. 

Ballet/Contemporary: Ballet technique including barre, alignment and performance skills. Technical components of ballet with freedom and fluidity of Modern and contemporary dance forms.

(NEW) VAMOS! Let’s Move : Keep moving with ease! Join our low-impact, high-energy class designed to keep you active and energized, all while seated. Say goodbye to joint pain and hello to fun!


Dress Code:

A dancer can be asked to leave class if not in appropriate dress.

  • All Ballet/Contemporary Classes :  Solid color leotard, tights (pink or flesh tone preferred), ballet slippers. Leg warmers and ballet sweaters are allowed in the winter during barre exercises. Males can wear neutral, solid color fitted t-shirt or tank top, tights or dance pants, with ballet slippers. Hair should be in a bun, neat ponytail, braids, or using a hairnet to keep hair neat.

  • Flamenco: Solid color leotard, flamenco skirt, flamenco shoes. Males can neutral, solid color fitted t-shirt, fitted pants, flamenco shoes. Hair should be off of face & neck. 

  • All Other Classes : Plain top and bottoms (leotard with or without sports bra, fitted t-shirt, yoga bottoms, etc). Clothing should be neat and should not have any writing, pictures or logos on them; Hair off of face & neck.

  • Company Rehearsal: Latin Ballet attire or solid color leotard, flamenco skirt and all dance shoes should also be readily available at every rehearsal.
