Jay Williams

Mr. Williams, also known as J.Static, is a versatile Hip-Hop dancer and performer. His style of New age Hip-Hop combines all styles from Popping and Waving to Housing and Breaking. Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Jay has been dancing since he was 3 years old. He has been trained by Antwan Chavis, Alvin Fowlkes, a national Christian dance ministry leader. He performed with the number 1 nationally ranked show choir of the Clover Hill High School. Jay has performed at Radio City Hall in New York City. He is the creator and leader of The PlanetX crew (A league of extraordinary dancers, designers, writers, and recording artist) and he hosts Workshops all over the States including, performing during Harlem Rock the Block. He currently teaches Hip Hop at Art In Motion Dance Studio, River City Dance Theatre, along with The Latin Ballet educational programs and at the Latin Ballet school at Glen Allen.
