Zachary Owen
Dancer
Zachary Owen discovered his passion for dance in the 4th grade through the Minds in Motion program, which ignited his lifelong love for the art. He continued his dance education at the prestigious Richmond Ballet, where he trained rigorously for six to seven years. During his time there, Zach honed his skills in various dance styles and participated in numerous performances, including performing in the Nutcracker for five consecutive years, gaining invaluable experience and developing his artistry.
In addition to his training at Richmond Ballet, Zach attended the Appomattox Regional Governor's School for the Arts and Technology (ARGS) for two years as a dance major. He finished his education by graduating from the Edgenuity program, demonstrating his commitment to both his academic and artistic development.
For the past two years, Zach has been a vital part of the Latin Ballet of Virginia. His dedication and talent have greatly enriched our professional company, and he has played a significant role in our productions and educational performances. Zach is known for his dynamic performances and his ability to connect with audiences.
Beyond his technical skills, Zach brings a deep understanding of dance as a cultural and expressive art form. He is committed to sharing the beauty and importance of dance with the community, inspiring students and audiences alike with his enthusiasm and expertise. We are thrilled to have Zach as a cherished member of our FAMILIA at the Latin Ballet of Virginia."
