~ A Metaphor for the Love of Dance and Life ~

Once upon a time in Colombia, South America, lived a very special turtle who danced every day and night. She danced in the theaters and parks so well! She always bought white shoes and her dresses were almost all pink and baby blue. Suddenly her feet got so tired from dancing. She couldn’t walk even a step because she was so exhausted.  However she kept dancing, even as it was painful, working so hard, not losing one minute of her life. Then one day the Turtle Bailarina became so sick and so sad because she couldn’t dance any more. Her sadness was so deep that she passed away.

This performance is dedicated to Dorita Olarte de Barragan who lived all her life for the love of DANCE.
